Laura Burrows Kearney has served as organist since 1991 and minister of music since 2005.  She is a graduate of Meredith College (1981).  She and her husband Jimmy have a son, Jordan, a daughter, Emily & her husband, Nicholas Pulliam and 2 grandchildren, Adelyn Kearney and Bennett Pulliam.

She retired in June, 2013, after 31 years of teaching elementary school in Warren County and Roanoke Rapids.  She and her husband reside in Littleton.

She believes that music plays an important role in worship services...whether as a choir member or a member of our congregation.  She wants everyone to enjoy singing praises to our Lord!  When the trumpeters and singers were as one...the glory of the Lord filled the house of God. - 2 Chronicles 5: 13- 14
